1. Open Access Statement

Open Arc Journal of Research and Innovation (OAJRI) is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are freely available online immediately upon publication, without subscription fees or any other access barriers. Open access publishing is supported by Article Processing Charges (APC) paid by authors or their institutions.

OAJRI is committed to the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access, which ensures that all users have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of published articles.

2. Copyright Policy

Authors who publish in OAJRI retain the copyright of their work. By submitting a manuscript, authors grant OAJRI the right of first publication while retaining the right to reuse their work in future publications, provided the original publication in OAJRI is properly cited.

Authors are free to:

  • Post their published article on personal or institutional websites
  • Share their work in repositories, preprint servers, or academic networks
  • Reuse their work in books, theses, or other publications with proper attribution

3. Creative Commons License

All articles published in OAJRI are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Under this license, others are free to:

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format

4. Self-Archiving Policy

OAJRI supports author self-archiving at all stages:

Authors are encouraged to deposit their published articles in institutional repositories and subject repositories to maximize visibility and impact.

5. Third-Party Material

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any third-party material, including figures, tables, or data, included in their manuscript. The source of all reproduced material must be clearly acknowledged in the manuscript.

6. License for Reviewers and Editors

Reviewers and editors do not acquire any copyright or ownership rights over the manuscripts they handle. All manuscript content remains the intellectual property of the authors until publication, at which point it is governed by the CC BY 4.0 license as described above.

7. DOAJ Seal Compliance

OAJRI's copyright and licensing policy is designed to comply with the requirements of the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). Authors retain copyright, the journal applies a CC BY 4.0 license, and the license is clearly indicated on all published articles.
